A SHOWCASE TO SEE!!
On Thursday, August 4th the students and staff of YDO Summer 2016 welcomed friends and family to enjoy the presentation of projects and performances from their five weeks of work.
This year’s staff of 40 high school and college students offered 25 different project-based classes, and each class prepared at least one showcase work to share with the audience of over 300. The atmosphere was alive with talent, joy, pride and excitement!
- STEM – Biology, Chemistry, Circuit Workshop, Coding, Kinesiology, LEGO Robotics, Math, Science Olympiad, Solar Cars, Tools & Building, Video Game Design
- Arts – Acting, Ceramics, Chinese Culture, Crafts, Dance, Drawing, Fashion Design, Film Making, Music, Responsible Social Media, Painting, Photography, Writing
